as expected its heavy. it is exactly 1.lb so rolling it on a hard surface is a no go, you need a padded surface to roll it. it is way better than using percentage dice. mostly because this actually rolls. i will say upon inspection it isn't metal at least not steel. magnets don't stick to it. it feels like stone. and doesn't get as cold to the touch as metal. the numbers are laid out properly according to standard dice rules. the 1 being opposite the 100, the 2 being opposite the 99, 3 to 98, 4 to 97 and so on and so forth. it is hard to assess the balance of the die because it is just that heavy. but initial testing so far it seems pretty balanced. (gave it 100 rolls). i will say unsurprisingly because it doesnt follow the typical primary dice shape format the sides of it are not all the same shape. but its similar to the d10 in that regard. unlike a d10 however that odd shape doesnt really effect how it rolls because it is significantly more spherical. and lastly it is very well made. if you're a tabletop role-player or especially if you're a DM and you like to physically have dice rather than letting a computer decide fate for you. this is a good product especially if you like playing with wild magic.
