Only get my dice from Misty Mountain this new set is easily my new favorite. Weight is excellently light for stone dice. Made sure to get myself a nice vault to store them in!
Indoors they look just like the photos. In sunlight, they glow blue with magical energy (photo). Carving, inking, polishing etc. is all excellent. Customer service is very helpful as well!
These dice are top-notch. I had planned to get the regular opalite set at some point, because opalite is pretty and colorful, but the designs on the Fabled Mark set take this above "hehe pretty rocks with numbers on them for the click-clack stuff" to "I may or may not make these a family heirloom" territory.
I bought these as a gift for my wife and was really impressed with the quality of the dice. They're beautiful and the light inside will catch this faint orange-hue at certain angles that is really quite lovely.
They have a good feel to them as well. Sturdy but not cumbersome, feels nice to roll. I'm not the type to spreadsheet the average on a set, so I can't provide any statistical feedback on them but they're pleasant to use.
It's a pricey set of dice, don't get me wrong, but as a special gift to the D&D lover in your life they are an extremely well made set of dice with a lot of attention to detail. I am likely to get myself my own set in the future.
These dice are gorgeous! I decided to treat myself with this set in honor of the first campaign I'll be DM'ing and they are wonderful. They feel great to roll, the quality and design are top notch, and the process of ordering and having them delivered went smoothly, simply, and accurately. I'll certainly be using Misty Mountain Gaming again the next time I'm looking for some quality dice!
Customer service was phenomenal. Sometimes when you place online orders you feel like you’re dealing with phantoms but this felt like my neighborhood store. Item was a gift for my daughter who was very pleased.
The dice were a birthday present for my daughter. She chose them from the catalog herself. They came quickly, and she is very happy with them, and has used them in a D & D game already.
I have never seen anything like them before. They really are beautiful, and another set may wind up in her Christmas stocking! Thank you.
